Planning for The Festive Season

It’s nearly December, that time of year when parties seem to descend upon us by the dozen and our schedules start to resemble an exercise in time management. It’s also that time of year when inevitably, our wardrobes will suddenly become that perilous place full of thorns and obstacles, suddenly highlighting all those days not spent at the gym and that extra slice of cake eaten at yesterday’s party. A never ending void might also appear, designed to swallow up all those clothes and outfits we once had, rendering them suddenly useless.

To avoid these pitfalls, it might be a good idea to start planning for the season ahead, one such objective of this pre-planning might be to ensure that it is infact a season of merriment rather than a season of tension and frustration. I also do suggest that these outfit plans do incorporate the obvious fact that this is not diet season. I strongly recommend that you do not buy or plan outfits that would suddenly transform themselves should you put on a kilo, otherwise you will spend these parties depriving yourself and feeling miserable thereby losing out on our mentioned objective – the season of merriment.
I’ve scoured the whole world over (well just the web version) for some ideas for festive outfits. Especially those of you that favour online shopping, I think it is time to start – as always, happy tidings and happy shopping.
