In recent years, there’s been a movement within the beauty industry to make use of ingredients considered to be luxurious – like 18ct gold, caviar and now even diamond dust. Label.m have created this new range using real diamond properties to give both body and hair intense hydration and an exclusive shine.

The packaging is sleek and guess what -shin..infact taking photos of these babies and also letting the text show proved to be a bit harder than I’d have imagined. Body lotion is a new foray for the brand having previously only dealt with haircare.
As far as the body lotion and shiny skin, well my skin had a subtle shimmer after I applied it – did I sparkle like a diamond ? No, but then I never thought I would. My skin did feel really well hydrated though and in summer my skin is really dry due to all the air conditioning and sun exposure. Back to the shimmer factor – in summer especially, I enjoy shimmery skin but I often find that a lot of products that claim to do so use glitter which might leave you looking like you’ve just exited a 10-year old’s princess party. Thankfully this product doesn’t.
I was mostly impressed by the conditioner, not because of the shiny effect but mainly because of how conditioning it was, as soon as I applied it, I could feel my curly hair detangling and softening. I’ve tried many Label.m conditioners before so it’s not like this was my introduction to the brand. The shampoo felt lightweight and effective, I only needed to shampoo once, with other shampoos, sometimes it can feel like one wash doesn’t really get the job done.
As far as shiny hair goes, I tried the shampoo and conditioner both for a curly style and a straight one. When leaving my hair curly, the reality is that I apply way too much product for any shine to be apparent. When I left my hair straight it did seem to have a sleek and shiny vibe to it – it definitely was soft and frizz free.
