Tech Radar : Samsung S7 Edge

I’ve recently acquired a new tech baby that’s probably my favourite gadget ever – Samsung S7 Edge. There are good days, bad days and what I call black days. I had a black day last December. Last summer I wrote a story about my 48-hrs spent phoneless and the traumatic experience that I felt it was, laughable though that may be.
I wasn’t expecting to have to endure it again so soon and once again through no fault of my own – the phone simply ‘bricked’ and launched itself into an irrecoverable state. My mood turned so black and irrational, to make it worse I was in Stockholm and I rely on GPS to get around, in a fit of obstinance I refused to get a map / print directions and as a result a trip home took three times longer with about thirty minutes spent with me trying to figure out my whereabouts.
I eventually calmed down and realised I need to buy a new phone and all the reviews pointed towards the S7 edge being the most ideal for me. The camera has always been reputed to be the best, the battery life reports always good, the only general complaint seemed to be about people not liking Samsung software but I had owned one in the past and found no issues.

I actually tend to buy mobile phones online but in this case after posting something on facebook, Sound Machine got in touch and it was actually cheaper to buy from them.
Moral of the story – I have a new phone and once I unpacked it and used it for 24 hrs, I was quote happy the other phone had broken down. This is a fantastic phone, it’s fast and responsive, the camera is beyond fantastic and the battery even lasts me 24 hrs (I use my phone constantly).Moral of the story – I have a new phone and once I unpacked it and used it for 24 hrs, I was quite happy the other phone had broken down.

Super super features

  • The edge design – such beauty
  • The F1.7 lens rear camera with brilliant auto focusing
  • The 5-megapixel front camera with selfie mode that seems to banish dark circles
  • The battery lasts me 24 hrs (I use my phone constantly..previous phone was lasting 3 hours)
  • Water resistant
