Beauty Review: Prevage Cleanser

Elizabeth Arden

After using the Elizabeth Arden Prevage Cleanser for about a month now it’s time to put my thought down on paper. This cleanser is a cross between a traditional foaming cleanser and an exfoliator. The product contains light exfoliating particles but is not harsh or drying. It has a light citrus scent and the consistency is nice and creamy.
Although the exfoliator is very fine since I have quite dry and sensitive skin I decided not to use it as a daily cleanser but instead opted for 4-5 times a week. It did not irritate my skin in the slightest, I used it on slightly damp skin, massaged it into the skin for a few minutes and then wiped it off with a warm face towel. It lathers well and did a great job at removing makeup too, better than many other cleansers I’ve tried. It seemed to clean my skin really well without stripping it of its natural oils. My skin felt smooth and clean after using it and in a great position to accept serum. I did not try and use it to remove eye makeup as I own the world’s most sensitive eyes – didn’t think this would be a smart move.

From the official website

“This multi-action moisture-rich cleanser quickly dissolves impurities, makeup and surface pollution as it refines skin’s appearance with biodegradable wax exfoliating beads. Clears the way for maximum treatment benefits, leaving skin feeling cleansed, comfortable and healthy looking. “
