Plan H is Back in My Life

The quest for a healthy lifestyle is on everyone’s minds these days. Everywhere we look we are bombarded with ideas and information. Sometimes it can feel a bit unsettling but the truth is we need it, we need the daily reminders to exercise, to eat a balanced diet, to remember to de stress and unwind at the end of a day. I made a new year’s resolution to take care of myself more and losing a few kilos and eating healthier was one of my goals. I started off with the C9 cleanse which was a good mental kick and then I took the decision to return to Plan H.

If you’re not too sure what Plan H is , you can read this post but in a nutshell, it’s a subscription system that brings you your healthy, balanced meals for the entire day delivered to your door in a bag. I spent probably over 2 years on it and then last summer I decided I needed a break. The reality is that back then, my mind and moods were all over the place and I was supplementing my meals wit doses of bread and chocolate, so I realised I needed to maybe let my mind settle it out for a few months.

I’m in a much better place now, happier with my job, really trying to fix my injuries and donig my best not to overlod myself with work. This means that I’m now also able to go back to following the Plan H system properly at least Monday – Friday. Another reason for the rejoin is that they’ve reorganised their system and there are now a few packages to choose from rather than just one option for all.

I’m currently on a lactose free Fitness1200, this means I get 1200 calories per day (which I do sometimes increase by adding an apple / small slab of dark choc / some unsweetened almond milk / handful of nuts). My plan is to move onto Fitness1800 as my capacity for itensive exercise increases (hopefully my injuries continue to improve).

I’ve listed the pacakges on offer below so you can get an idea of what they’re like

Detox
A 7-day detox package Eur 171.50

Lite1200
6-week plan to promote weight loss. This package is lower in carbs, and more soup and vegetable based

Fitness1200

Fitness1800
