Polka Dots At London Fashion Week

Polka dots are one of those trends that always seem to be around, almost like florals, although maybe not quite on the same level. This season though it’s almost as if it’s the only pattern that counts. The check pattern was huge this winter and will carry on into spring but it’s more of a wintry look. In its place we have the polka dot and judging from what I’ve seen no the catwalk, this will continue well into next year.

I’m sure a lot of you already have polka dot items in your wardrobes, maybe even from a year of two ago – this is the time to hunt in your own closet, no point in buying something you already have. However, if whatever you have doesn’t quite fit or look right – well plenty of options around.

My skirt and top are from River Island – and I’m really, really, really happy with my skirt. It’s from the studio collection of River Island which means a more upmarket, premium line, it’s also real leather which means my hotel closet currently has the most diving smell and it feels so soft and luxurious.
