A Stay at Le Cinq Codet

I count myself lucky for many, many reasons but every time I travel to somewhere new or have an opportunity to visit a new, stunning hotel I get shivers of excitement. Sometimes I need to pinch myself to remember that it’s all real and that I’m not in the middle of some complex dream.

In fact, I’ve truly had the opportunity to stay in some pretty fantastic hotels, maybe because it’s a recent experience but in my opinion, my last place of residence in Paris was really something quite spectacular. The 5 star Le Cinq Codet is unique in many ways. It is a privately owned boutique hotel that truly puts the guest’s comfort as their main priority.

Decor & Rooms

The hotel has a very private, very relaxing atmosphere. It is contemporary and modern yet with a historic touch. The rooms are pretty spacious, high ceilinged rooms have been converted into duplex rooms with high windows which allow lots of natural light. The decor throughout the hotel features bright, artistic, colourful touches featuring interior details from different European countries.  My room also had an enormous bathtub right next to the double bed, I was there with a friend, not the hubby unfortunately as this really is the most romantic idea. Fluffy bathrobes, slippers, gorgeous toiletries, Nespresso machine are all to be found in the room.

Location

This hotel sits on the left bank of the Seine and is right next to Invalides and a few minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower. It’s a great location, both the metro and a whole host of wonderful restaurants are also very close by.

Hospitality

The staff simply cannot do enough to accommodate you, everything you ask for is not a problem, they even insisted on giving my room a once-over to ensure I hadn’t left anything behind!

Breakfast

Breakfast is served in their gorgeous restaurant, lots of artisan pastries and delicacies available.

Wellness Centre

There’s a spa and fitness room, this gorgeous jacuzzi set on a terrace and lots of treatments available to book.

Everything Else

Breakfast was superb and there’s the option of having it in the room if you prefer at no extra charge, the bar and restaurant is great and there’s a jazz night every Saturday night. The reception is available 24 hours as is the wellness centre.

Staying at Le Cinq Codet is indeed a wonderful experience, somewhere you truly can relax and feel at home yet experience something different and unique.
