As mentioned previously, Toni&Guy Malta are currently hosting the Be the Look Competition (for which I am the stylist) to find the top girl and guy to be their models of the year. Each month two finalists (one male, one female) are chosen and a photoshoot is done using these two finalists.
The third photoshoot using the May finalists took place last month. The usual artistic team was involved and as for the past finalists, I was the stylist for the shoot.

As with the other months, the overall theme of the shoot was elegance and fashion. However, we also wished to bring out the models’ personalities.
In this case Yana is a very ‘free spirited’ individual with a highly original, slightly ethnic fashion sense. The beading on her dress along with her chunky jewellery which is a mixture of elegant and studded cuffs bring out this part of her personality. Her hairstyle and hair colour which were created for her for the shoot care not at all plain, highlighting her individuality.
In James’ case, he has quite a sharp image and an outgoing personality, I feel this is reflected in his tailored, coloured blazer and sleek updo along with his lovely blonde highlights.
