You might recall that around April, I had featured a budding new scarf and interior designer Lusia Diacono. Well, Luisa has continued to grow her brand LD by Luisa Diacono and has now set her skills onto designing t-shirts and caps. She has just released a beautiful collection of hand painted caps and t-shirts.
When I saw these caps, I just had to have one, I chose a white and gold one and I think it has such a unique design. Infact, I decided to create today’s outfit post around it. On the day these photos were taken, the hubby and I had decided to go out for a spot of home interiors shopping and then, later, we fired up the bbq for a healthy, summer lunch.
For this outfit, I started the styling process with the cap as the primary object, then I paired it with one of my favourite dresses, a cut out floral dress that’s really cute that I picked up in London last summer; since the cap has a somewhat blingy look-at-me design, it’s perfectly offset by a cute dress.
I also wore my new Desigual bag, I’m in love with this bag; the size is large enough so that all my essentials fit and small enough that it is really comfy slung across my body and does not restrict my movements in any way.
I decided to enhance the cuteness factor a bit more by adding a jelly babies curb chain necklace.

And in other exciting news Luisa Diacono has teamed up for one night with one of my favourite Maltese jewellery designers – Yana Azzopardi – tomorrow evening they are hosting an event together called Caps and Stones at Yana’s Shop in Msida, Malta. Location : Yana’s Jewellery, Triq Misrah Il-Barriera, Msida.
