Every season there are a couple of colours that peak but it’s been a while since my favourite colours have been in the direct limelight. Pantone (the main colour company worldwide) have officially declared the colour of 2018 to be ultraviolet which for spring has transformed into lilac and purple blends. Lilac also blends well with pale pink and of course mixed with different shades of purple and plums.
The outfit in these photos came about quite randomly. I picked a few items from Na-kd and basically this kimono and knit top were in the same package. I tried one over the other out of sheer laziness and then realised how well they worked together.
If you’re interested in buying anything from this online store I’ve left a discount code and link at the end of the post.
I’m actually not usually that into matching items but in this case it felt really fun..maybe because all the pink created a fuzzy numbing effect to my brain. I actually really had fun with this outfit though.
I wore this outfit all day on Saturday, literally from morning till evening. I went to a physiotherapy session, lunch at Zest at is-Suq which by the way is awesome. They’ve launched a street food concept that’s super yummy and you can order lots of different items to share. It feels a bit like when you attend a party, realise it’s catered by Zest and get all excited. This way though you have control over the menu. I went for an eyebrow tattoo touchup at Sue Caruana and back to dinner in Valletta at King’s Own.
