Fall/Winter 2012-2013 The Return of The Point- The Shoe Point

Heads up ladies, our favourite weapon of choice is back, so take a look in your closet and sharpen your points cause pointed shoes have made a comeback !!
This is not to say round toed and square toed shoes are out – they’re still in, it’s just that this this season they’ve got to make room for pointed ones too.
This style of shoe was mostly popular around 5- 6 years ago but over the last few seasons, it has made a couple of appearances; mainly in designer collections and on the toes of some celebrities. This season however, it’s gone mainstream once again!!

Some notes to consider:
A pointed shoe can make a wide foot appear narrower but at the same time can make large feet appear larger than they truly are.
If buying a pointed shoe in classical colours such as black or neutral, it is worth investing in a good quality leather pair as this will be a lot more comfortable and will last for many years.

Never ever wear pointed shoes with wide leg trousers, sadly these trends just don’t do it, instead wear them with a pencil skirt, cropped trousers, or skinny leg trousers for a chic look.
