The lovely people at PUPA Milano recently sent me some samples from their new Spring/Summer collection and one of the items was this black Multiplay eyeliner pencil.
First of all let me start by saying, I didn’t have too high hopes, I’m fussy with eye pencils, most of them tend to give me panda eyes, especially when I use them below the eye; at the moment this is even more the case since after doing eye laser surgery I frequently apply drops in my eyes. In fact, since the surgery I had given up on wearing eyeliner below the lower lash line. Another minus point for pencils is that I find that you really need to tug on the eyelid sometimes, so generally, I simply stick to liquid eyeliners on the top eyelid and eye shadow or gel or nothing underneath….
However since I decided to review this pencil I tried to approach it with an biased mind – RESULT ?? I’m a CONVERT 10/10.
First off, the consistency of the product is amazing, so creamy..feels like gel eyeliner rather than a pencil, there is absolutely no eyelid tugging needed to apply. The pencil has a smudger on the other end that is really convenient for creating a smokier less defined line.
This pencil claimed to be waterproof...so I decided to give it a try using it below the eyelid….these photos were taken after about 5 hours …look at them…no running whatsoever and I had applied drops and all !!!
The colour is an intense shade of black and high pigmented; there is no need to keep repeating the line over and over to achieve the desired intensity.
This pencil can also be used along with the smudger as an eyeshadow for smokey eyes, haven’t tried that yet but think it will be awesome !!

I was also sent the eyeliner – it's so soft I really enjoyed applying it! And it's such a breeze to blend using that sponge tip and it made a really nice blurred-edge effect instead of the usual harsh line I get from liquid liner 🙂
Didn't know it was waterproof – but it certainly stays on!
