Beauty Post : PUPA Milano NailPolish Candy Pink

I was sent this PUPA Milano nailpolish 215 candy pink, part of their beaultiful ’50s spring 2013 collection by Stephanie from medimports.
I was very happy to see that it was such a pretty shade of coral pink – my favourite colour for summer – and so in trend too !! I quickly set about removing my existing nailpolish and applying this new one.
I loved the texture, easy to apply without streaking, and quite easy to get a coat on that is not too thin nor too thick – some people might prefer a wider brush; this one is rather on the thin side but I have narrow nail beds so I actually prefer narrow brushes.
I applied two coats over Orly Nail Defense and then used Seche Vite topcoat over the nailpolish which is my holy grail of top coats. You can see the result in the pics below: my nails are very shiny and glossy.
However, the real test of a nailpolish is in its durability so scroll down to see the results later on in the week.

Now I always use the same top coat and I have had mixed results depending on the brand of nailpolish – occasionally, my manicure has lasted 7 days without  a single chip, but with some brands only 3 days before the first chip. Also, the glossiness is not always well preserved after the first two days.
After 4 days my nails still looked lovely and shiny (pic below) so was super super happy.
After 4 Days
My first chip came on the 5th day but to be fair – I was at the gym, handling dumbbells and I somehow managed to peel of an entire nail – I think had this not happened, I’d have reached the 7 day target easily.
All in all – rating result – 8/10 and I would definitely buy more colours in this range !!

Hi Caro, bought Seche Vite topcoat to try it out.. and me and the girls in the flat all loved it… It's really good – now to see how long the nail polish lasts.

Heyy -I think it's brilliant – I need to write a post on how to use it cause it requires a bit of a particular method – will put it up later this week
