The yearly Malta Fashion Awards event is always a highlight, not just a ‘clothes’ show but a wonderful show displaying a huge range of artistic creativity with events ranging from fashion designer catwalk shows to hair shows and makeup shows.
Over the last week, my Fashion Week reviews have mostly focused on the clothes but the hair and makeup are equally interesting so I am writing a fashion awards hair review and a fashion week hair review.
Today the focus is on the awards night….There were some truly wonder hair and makeup creations.
As a side note I must mention the general makeup done for all the fashion models by Elaine Galea and her team, it was lovely and they actually managed to perform miracles and find time to do all the changes and touch ups required in between the different shows – thumbs up to them !!!
Then of course there were the hair shows

He was also awarded a lifetime achievement award and it is not hard to see why………

Love the range of colours, what’s really cool is that although it’s multicoloured, the colours really blend well together, the different hairstyles are lovely too.

Justin Brincat’s Makeup Show
As usual this was truly wonderful, his artistic vision and skill is truly impressive, the bodypaint and makeup was of course perfect.
I must also mention the wigs by Chris and Matthew from Michael and Guy, they are indescribably cool and astoundingly well made.
