When a new store opens I’m always quite excited to see what exciting new prospects have been brought. However, when I realised that MAX&Co had opened in Malta I was super excited.
I’m no stranger to this brand and have followed it from lands afar for some time now. This brand belongs to Max Mara family group and as such is its trendier, younger sister.
So of course, I just had to investigate this store thoroughly. It is situated in Sliema,Tower Road right next to NEXT and iCentre.
The first thing that struck me, was the quality of the clothes, the fabric is of a very high quality with silk being the predominant material on many of the dresses. There are some lovely colourful clothes, with really interesting prints and lovely colour combinations.
One of the other things that struck me, was the lovely visual display of all the stock. Thumbs up to whoever took care of this.
The range of clothes available, caters for a variety of ages, whilst some trendier, brighter options are more suitable for the 20 – 35 age range. There are also some lovely classical clothes for the more mature woman – this dress below for example, is the perfect morning wedding dress for the 40+ woman.
I fell completely in love with the lace crochet options, such lovely intricate designs. Such a lovely top!!
And this lace dress below !! Just darling !!
And of course some stylish bags and accessories.
By now you must all be dying to know what the prices are like – I have good news, whilst the shop would never be called cheap, the prices are actually pretty reasonable. Dress prices range from 150 – 220 euro.
I checked the price of a beautiful silk floral dress that caught my eye and it was 220 euros which in my eyes is very reasonable. This tops below is just 8 euros, and it has a high level of workmanship and design; this is a great price, especially since this store almost falls into the ‘designer’ category.

An interesting titbit I was told whilst in the store, is that they are only getting about 3 items of each piece..and in our small island..that means a lot to us !!
Max Mara and Marina Rinaldi are the most high end brands of the whole group and I wouldn’t say that MAX&Co is on par, however its is a beautiful store that stands on its own feet and delivers style and class at affordable prices.
