Yesterday, I had the pleasure of assisting backstage at a wonderful fashion show. The fashion show was organised by MYN Media Entertainment (run by Noelene Miggiani, Marisa Grima & Yvonne Desira Buttigieg) under the patronage of Mrs Michelle Muscat (the Maltese Prime Minister’s Wife) at the Prime Minister’s summer residence Girgenti. The show was organised in aid of the ME/Fibromalygia Awareness Group.

The organisers did a brilliant job of organising this really professional fashion show. There were eleven brands/designers involved : Armani Jeans & Tommy Hilfiger, Massimo Dutti, Kally’s, Marks&Spencer, Vascas Jewellers, Pronovias, Sandro Ferrone, Fersani, Party 21, List (Roma).

Since I was working backstage, I can’t comment on the models’ catwalk styles or on what the audience’s perspective was like…but I can comment on the clothes; for which I had a bird’s eye view :D. All the models (supernovalmodels) looked lovely in each outfit, styled impeccably by Marisa Grima.

The stores exhibited their summer collections and there was a lovely mix of bright colours & different patterns. There were vastly different styles too, ranging from beautiful cocktail & party dresses by Pronovias to the more casual Tommy Hilfiger range.

The show was followed by a reception in the gardens of the establishment…so after a rather tiring evening backstage, we got to relax and unwind in a lovely setting, with flowing wine and some yummy food…all in all another lovely night of fashion 🙂
