As the official Miss Malta Blogger I will be discussing and examining the style evolution of the competitors throughout the duration of this competition. This post focuses on Miss Lija – Maria Victoria Muscat.
The beauty team of Miss Malta is made up of Marisa Grima (styling the fashion show), Shasha Fabri (makeup), Transforma, Sue Caruana Beauty Inc (nails) and Patrick and Screen Malta (hair).
Not that much has changed in Maria’s image..she was a very slim girl to start of with and seems to have remained the same size and shape, her hair has also remained the same length and colour. What has changed slightly is the hair styling. Whilst in the audition she wore her hair in natural, somewhat tight, curls, throughout the programme it is being styled into looser curls more akin to waves..the curls at the crown are also being stretched and straightened somewhat. I actually like both looks on Maria, her natural curls are very pretty, but the styling being done also suits her a lot and maybe makes her look a bit more sleek and polished.

| I really like this makeup, I love how big her lips look, how her eyes have definition without being overpowered by too much eyeshadow – I think she should wear this makeup everyday of her life! |
What has really improved is her walk in regards to the fashion show, over the past few weeks I think she has worked quite a bit on acquiring more technique as to how to walk properly on a catwalk. The effort seems to be paying off as she looked really good yesterday.
