Some weeks ago I reviewed the entire HD makeup range of NYX, I also promised individual reviews of all the various products too.
The first one is the NYX Grinding Setting Powder. I’m really not a powder person – my skin is dry and I never like the mattifying effect of setting powder so generally it’s a step I always skip. However, if I know my photo is going to get taken multiple times at a party or I’m appearing on TV then setting powder is necessary and this one is really really lovely.
It has a very natural effect, doesn’t dry out the skin and really evens out the skin tone. I’m very impressed. The packaging is also brilliant as it allows you to ‘grind out’ just the amount you need and this means it’s portable – hurrah!
I’ve tried wearing this both over the NYX HD foundation and also over my normal everyday lightweight foundation and it looked great each time so don’t feel you need to buy the entire range, if it’s just a setting powder you need then you can buy just that.
