This show was a highlight, both because it featured some lovely, highly wearable pieces but also because I got to sit in the front row which gave me a perfect view and the ability to take some pics. Jasper Conran is a long-time established designer, one of the original masters of the craft.
Slinky, loose materials, cuts that don’t cling to any part of the body, patterns and a feeling of careless sophistication are the words I use to describe Jasper Conran’s collection. Patterns resembling paint splatters further evoking this careless feeling that seems to describe freedom was a predominant feature even on the invite. There were also lots of geometric patterns and grids and stripes.
