Clean Living : Falling off the Healthy Wagon

It’s been a few weeks since my last post regarding Plan H and my road to healthy existence. First of all, the original 8-week challenge finished, but also, I hate to admit to setbacks even small ones.
There was a giant setback in the form of a trip with the hubby to Taormina (can anyone resist food there?), a trip to the google offices (do those ppl ever stop eating ) and a trip to London.
Taormina was the first time I indulged in food items like bread, sweets, pizzas, arancini since starting the challenge and whilst yes, Plan H lessened my cravings for certain foods, they didn’t taste any less divine.

When I travel, even if I really indulge, I walk so much that I rarely gain more than a kilo which was the gain over this trip but the royal problem for me is always when I come back home – the subsequent two weeks after usually results in another kilo gain. After a week of eating whatever takes my fancy, I find it very difficult to settle back down and behave.

This time it was much easier – as mentioned in my last post, I decided to continue PlanH on weekdays, so I came back to receiving PlanH food. I have to admit, I am not being as successful as the last round – it’s the peak of Summer now, there are events at every corner and I want to go out all the time and eat ice cream. However, for the most part, I am sticking to only eating their food and eating healthily, the fact that I receive the ‘food for the day’ makes it so much easier to not just pick up a sandwich or a bag of crisps and hey this week I even got pancakes for breakfast.
The aforementioned kilo gain is not yet wholly gone but there weren’t others gained and will hopefully soon be gone, although I am soon going to Italy again so there’s danger on the horizon once again
