Outfit Post : Beach Chic

When you receive a wedding party invite with a ‘beach chic’ dress code, it can be a bit confusing. The questions that immediately started running through my brain were – heels or flats? long dress or short dress..or something else?

I have this bad habit of leaving my outfit selection until the very last minute and then going into a bit of a panic zone. It doesn’t help when the hubby picks that very time to start asking me what he should wear too. In the end, I chose a dress by Maison Scotch that thanks to its interesting pattern and tight fitting fit, I feel sits somewhere in the happy middle between formal and relaxed style. I decided to avoid potential hair-humidity disasters by styling it into a wet-look effect using sculpting lotion. I also decided to shock horror, horror – for the first ever – attend a wedding in flats.
