Whilst the weather might be still somewhat (ok a lot) warm outside, the new fashion season is soon here, the shops have already begun stocking it and I’ve already seen some beautiful coats, soft buttery leather jackets, slinky tops and luxurious, woven sweaters. You may or not be familiar with this rising star designer – Elisabetta Franchi, a Made in Italy brand that is stocked at Rebelli Boutique in Malta.
Elisabetta Franchi is one of those designers that manages to combine the concepts of clean fashion and glam fashion into one perfectly exquisite piece that neither feels too much or too little. The simple, tailored, clean pieces have hidden details that put them a notch above lower-end brands, whilst the pricing is higher than a typical high street store, it still a far cry from that of more renowned designers. This A/W collection is really something special there’s a lot of eastern influence running through it and I’m especially taken with her use of laces throughout many of the pieces.
