As I’ve mentioned a few times before, for the past months I’ve been collaborating with Ericson Laboratoire in the name of good, glowing skin. I’ve had some lovely, lovely facials over these past months and I’ve really been enjoying their products. I’ve had about four different facials now – two meso-vit facials, one cleopatra facial and the last was the derma-calm which felt really relaxing and nourishing. My skin felt rested afterwards.
A beauty therapist once told me – good skin does not result from the monthly facial alone but rather from the maintenance done at home. My problem is that with all the million and one things I need to do, sometimes, taking care of my skin seems like something extra, something that can be shoved aside. I’m lucky in that I don’t really suffer from large breakouts or special skin conditions. This means it can suffer a bit of neglect. However, the difference in the resulting condition between when I adopt a rigorous routine and when I don’t for a week or so is painstakingly obvious.
My latest addition to the Ericsson Laboratoire product family is this glorious scrub below – it took me about a month to remove the product from the box and start using it but it is most definitely a winner. I like that the grains don’t feel harsh and that after using it my skin doesn’t feel dry or dehydrated. The therapist advised me to use it twice a week and to use as a normal face scrub but after having scrubbed the skin, to also leave the product on for a few minutes before rinsing off with warm water.
