Outfit Post : When Fur & Wool Collide Over Rain

I still haven’t written half of what I have to say about my recent fashion week trip. This season I made the decision to overload you a bit in the beginning and then space out the rest of information. Whilst I really do believe myself to be relevant enough so as to command continuous, undivided attention, I *ahem* accept that you know, you might have other things going on in your lives…..however much you may you know, love me and all.

So here’s another outfit post shot at Milan Fashion Week and you may be noticing that there’s a fair bit of purple in the mix. I wasn’t channelling Barney I promise but I do have a fondness for the colour purple. My favourite colour, as is appallingly obvious is pink – popular misunderstanding is that pink is only for little girls. As a teenager, I was fed that pack of lies and alarmingly, I believed it. So much so that I actually found another favourite colour – purple. As I grew up and realised the truth about pink, I apologised and placed it back upon its pink fluffy throne but purple decided to hang around. Quite useful though. Love and affection aside, I must admit that many shades of pink don’t really do much for my olive complexion. Purple on the other hand, is more useful in that regard.
The star of this outfit, for me at least (the wearer) is this Brooks Brother’s blazer that miraculously kept me warm on a really cold and wet day. The umbrella kept me dry, wool isn’t waterproof, in case you were thinking of testing that. The hubby also found out that waterproof cameras have a limited amount of time before they don’t remain waterproof so you may want to skip testing that one out too.
