Trends : Let's talk about the New Season - Edition 1

I’ve been declaring that Spring is here / Summer is almost here for a few posts now and well especially here in Malta, it really is time to put the Winter coats away. It’s also time to get down to business and start discussing the new season trends and yes, of course, scouting online deals.

1. Frayed Denim

Right, if you spend even a quarter of the time I do on Instagram, then you’d know about denim sporting frayed hems. I mean honestly, it’s really everywhere. I scouted this pair of jeans and these others here

2. Choker Necklaces

I’ve discussed this a few times already and even wore some in the latest outfit post and there are plenty around many costume jewellery shops – you could even get creative and make you own!

3. Neck Ties

As a follow up to above these are most popular in paisley patterns and look amazing with jeans and/or a fedora. My faves are this and this.

4. Pop Art Denim

I think Peter Pan had it right when he flew to Neverland to remain a kid – we all just seem to keep wanting to wear stuff we wore when we were kids. I’m not complaining, I’m all for revisiting my childhood clothes. I actually still own some pieces from my teens – they’re vintage now I suppose 😛

5. Cold Shoulder

Previously knows as off-the-shoulder #coldshoulder is the new way to refer to it and is currently trending everywhere. Check out this little beauty right here
