As you all know most of my beauty treatments are either done by myself at home or at The Beauty Team in Mosta. The brand of products they have been using and which I also started using at home is Ericson Laboratoire. I’ve been using the BOTU “VIP” moisturiser for some months and I’ve been quite happy with it. However, there were times when I felt that at night, my skin needed something a bit extra. The introduction of the serum a few months ago helped, but still especially after travelling (which let’s face it happens a bit often).
So I decided to start off a new programme and start using the enzymatic night cream from the same range. To kick start this, I had a BOTU “VIP” facial. This range mainly consists of a combination of active ingredients – Fillox and Syn-ake. Fillox acts in depth on wrinkles and smoothens out expression lines – it basically fills in irregularities and rehydrates. Syn-ake is meant to reproduce the shock paralysis effect on expression lines.
Probably not a symptom of the facial itself but more of my of-late, chronic, tiredness – I actually fell asleep during this facial – a first for me. My therapist did give me a wonderful neck massage though so maybe that’s why.
