Shopping : Mother’s Day Jewels

It’s Mother’s day on Sunday – did you know that not all countries celebrate Mother’s Day on the same day ? Spain celebrated yesterday and Italy a while ago and there are many more variations. Anyway, I really believe that our mummies should be made to feel extremely special every day not just on this day but on this day it’s nice to make a bit of an extra effort and do something a bit special. I always try to find a nice gift that has a bit of meaning, something that I think she will use a lot and think of me whilst using it.

I consider it to be almost a 100% truth fact that women love receiving jewellery as gifts. I am actually one of those women that almost never buys expensive jewellery for myself. I could pick up a cheap, fun necklace but actual, ‘real’ jewellery that makes me feel special whilst wearing it – that I kind of like to receive it. I teamed up with Pandora and Diamonds International to handpick some beautiful jewellery gifting ideas to suit different tastes and wallets.

Pandora Charms Mother’s Day Collection
For the mother who loves collecting charms and commemorating special life events. A mummy-related charm is an excellent present idea. I can really see new, young, mothers loving such a gift. Excellent idea for the baby to gift to mummy!

Pandora Rings
The collection of regular and stackable rings from Pandora are really, really lovely. There’s quite a vast selection and I love how pretty and delicate they are. The quality is superb (all silver or gold) too so no need to remove them to wash your hands.

Damiani at Diamonds International

Two amazing collections caught my eye.

The Paradise collection, inspired by the stars and planets. This inspiration comes alive with the interesting combination of  diamonds, white gold, and precious stones.
The Masterpiece Peacock. My favourite item in the entire store. These earrings feature a combination of gold and precious stones, resulting in this extraordinary play of colours that evoke the colours of peacock feathers.

Annamaria Camilli at Diamonds international

Nature itself is the inspiration for the design of these pieces. Recalling the beauty of a calla, it is depicted in grey colour of gold, with a central brilliant cut diamond – it feels clean and fresh in its simplicity. The pieces are also available also in other colours.

AL CORO at Diamonds international

“Dolce Vita” collection from AL CORO. This collection is really outstanding. Countless brilliant-cut diamonds lie on a bed of 18ct rose gold. The diamonds flow into one another in shades of white and brown. Truly mesmerising.  The beautiful ring in the last picture is set to allow the coloured diamond ring to be placed in the gap in the gold ring – resulting in a magnificent piece.

All Pics are my own – jewellery is available from Pandora and Diamonds International Stores in Malta and Gozo
