And it’s time for another sunglasses lookbook post with O’hea Opticians. The brands I’m featuring this time round had something a bit different to the norm – insanely pretty packaging. Honestly, the packaging is so beautiful, it’s enough of a reason to buy the sunglasses. In fact, I decided to focus this post more as product post rather than a lookbook post of me wearing them .
So first up are two pairs from Miu Miu. I’m a fan of Miu Miu in general, it’s kinda a luxurious wacky brand and just so much fun. So the sunglasses come in their classic pink boxes and bags. The cases are plush pink velvet, as is the insanely soft portable holder.
The first pair are definitely quite wacky but I personally love them. The cat eye feature is exaggerated with Jet Nut crystal details. The lenses are blue tinted and the frame has marbelized caramel pattern.
The second pair is a round-lensed pair of purple beauties called ‘full circle’. Round frames are not for everyone but if you’re in the market for a pair these are definitely a great pair to consider. There are other colour options too.
The next pair is by Dolce Gabbana from the SICILIAN CARRETTO collection which as the name implies, pays homage to the Sicilian Cart. These are really pure luxury. The beautiful box, the fact that they are limited edition, the wooden design and the fact that the sides are hand painted with relief decorations. I think if they were mine I’d be scared to wear them, afraid of ruining them or breaking them.
And onto the next pair – not as impressive in terms of packaging but they’re really quite a stylish pair by Ralph Lauren.. I love the combination of bright red and animal print.
The last pair – and we’re back to being adventurous once again. These are also by Dolce Gabbana. These are from the standard collection so the packaging is the standard one. These are really great if you’re buying an extra pair and want something a bit different.
