Outfit Post : All about the HIGH WAIST

The statement that I own a lot of clothes is undebatable, the statement that I claim I need something new every day is also undebatable. However, sometimes, comes along something new and unexpected that is just so damn good that I wonder how my wardrobe ever existed without it. The new A/W Elisabetta Franchi collection is superb. I knew it was going to be a good one when I saw the show last February in Milan but seeing how it’s been transformed into the individual ready-to-wear pieces is even more fun – now I can wear them.

These trousers are that item of clothing that I was referring to – that I can’t believe I went through life without. The fit, the material, the gold hardware, the tailoring. I’m in love with everything about them. The bodysuit is also wonderful but it’s the trousers that speak to me. These were actually part of the catwalk collection and I had spotted them there and then but I see so many things throughout that period that sometimes I forget. The minute I found them at Rebelli in Malta, they came home.
