Outfit Post: Imitating the Locals in Stockholm

The Sweedish street style fashion scene is quite remarkable. There’s something about it that’s so simultaneously put together and effortless that just makes you want to be them. They’re all about the long trench coats / duster coats, sneakers and Birkenstocks (worn with socks) and mom jeans. There’s also a lot of individuality expressed in their clothes too, they’re not afraid to stand out – blue hair, purple lipstick, bow ties worn for no formal reason. I was a bit shy to approach people and take their photos but I’m going again in October and pink swear I’ll get it done. In the meantime, this was my attempt and imitating their art on a sunny Sunday morning in Gamla Stan.
