On a Wednesday night in November, I was lucky enough to be invited to the Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spa for a session of its weekly Caprice Jazz Nights serenaded by Adrian ir-Russu on the saxophone.

This hotel remains one of my favourites on the island, not only because of how simply beautiful it is but also because of the excellent service that is always accompanied by a smile. 

The Caprice will also be featuring a special menu of ‘Sushi and Stix’ on Sundays and we were served different treats from this menu including some of the best, steamed dumplings I have ever eaten and mouthwatering scallops and oysters.

The Jazz nights will run weekly throughout the winter, there will also be a rotation of Erdinger & Stretta craft beers, Bombay Gin, Bacardi & Grey Goose vodka cocktails,wines, or single-malt whiskies.

For the event I wore a floral jumpsuit- in love with the bright colour that really pops and makes you look alive and a velvet short kimono-style jacket.
