Now that I’m finally starting to emerge from the post-fashion week slumber daze, it’s time to start writing and discussing the fashion content that took place on the catwalk and perhaps even in the audience (why not?) but first let’s start with the catwalk.
Here are (my humble opinion of course) my 7 favourite looks from Malta Fashion Week (both local and international)
1. Ritienne Zammit – The Red Dress
This red dress worn over this shirt is everything you could wish and hope for from this adventurous designer. Colourful, feminine, waist-nipping – I absolutely love it.
2. PARASCANDALO – The Body Suit and Tutu Skirt
I wore this outfit during fashion week so we all know I love it, it’s fun, sexy, a bit unusual yet all served with a dose of sweetness.
3. Rosemarie – The White Jumpsuit
I loved the entire collection but this is just insanely beautiful, nothing more to add.
4. Carla Grima – The Shirt & Shorts coord
This ensemble transported me straight to a yacht in the Amalfi Coast, love the colours, love the style, only the cocktail is missing.
5. GAETANO – That Sweater
Something somewhat androgynous with a touch of Gaetano glamour – now we’re talking. Maybe he’ll do a whole range of such items – please?
6. EYMERIC FRANCOIS – The Zipper Dress
A dress made out of zips modelled by Bojana – that is what I called picture perfect.
6. Jason Grech – This ‘Fit for A Princess’ Intricate Creation
This is what I’ll wear to my coronation.
7. Agatha Ruiz de la Prada – The babydoll dress
I firmly believe that this dress was made for me and only for me – who else agrees?
That’s it folks – a lot of other looks appealed to me but I forced myself to limit it to my 7 all-favourites. Let me know what you think
