The fashion world has recently been having a love affair with the colour blue, however, it has now turned into a marriage… blue been popping up in different places over the last two seasons but this fall it’s officially the most popular colour of the season..
Designers showcased their fall/winter collections last February and blue was a predominant colour. The high street stores were quick to follow and now that the stores have begun filling up with winter and autumn clothes, there’s a lot of blue to be found. So gals and boys… hit the stores, rifle through your closets – your wardrobe needs a blue section !!!

There are various shades of blue that are in fashion, cobalt bright blue is especially popular this season, it follows the recent bright trend without being too summery, however plain old navy blue is also big especially when mixed with sheer and lace material to keep it fresh.
Navy blue also looks wonderful when mixed with grey and silver ; the combination of blue silver and black also seems to be being used which is an interesting concept. Teal especially the brighter shades is another good choice of blue. Stay away from pastel blue, looks too summery and passé.
