The Academy Awards are a noteworthy event for many reasons. For one thing, all movie buffs look forward to initially predicting the results and then finding out how accurate they were on the night. Also, for all fashionistas it is exciting to see what the stars are wearing, what trends emerge, who is wearing the best gown and sometimes, who is wearing the worst.
There were many beautiful dresses in this year’s event, a lot of stars stepped up to the plate and looked superb, white and cream were very popular hues but splashes of colour were also seen. A popular style trend seemed to be mermaid-style dresses with a flowing finish rather than a restrictive one.

My favourite dress has to be Emma Stone’, I’m a huge fan of colour and also it has this classic beauty style which is what I believe the Oscar’s to be all about, many wonderful contenders though. My least liked dress is Sandra Bullock’s, such a shame as she is a beautiful woman.
