The Soap Cafe http://www.soapcafemalta.com/ is this wonderful beauty shop in Sliema where handmade beauty products are created from all natural, vegetarian approved ingredients. The finished product is truly delightful and original.
The event was made up of two events..the shop launch of a new makeup line called Pure! Pure cosmetics are 100% NATURAL, not tested on animals and are perfect for sensitive skin. The second event was a vintage sale by Hey Birdie-pie!” Vintage & Second Hand.
Although, I had heard of the shop this was actually my first visit so I was very interested in exploring the whole thing.
The event was lovely, the shop’s interior decoration is just amazing, there was tea and homemade truffles and cakes..the clothes and makeup and general products were great..it was all very enjoyable. I’ll cover the vintage sale in some detail in Part2 and focus on the shop in this part.
The great thing about the products on sale at the soap cafe, is that besides being of a very high quality and all natural they are also extremely beautiful to look at.

Looking around this amazing shop, I felt like a kid in a candy store…so much to see , so much to choose from…I ended up going home with a wonderful customised bath and shower gel that is meant to help you sleep …divine..
They also sell a small amount of household stuff, like leather diaries, glass teapots, all in very quaint styles.
The Pure! Makeup Line
I love the idea of pure makeup…after all makeup made of harsh chemicals can truly cause harm to our skin and harm our natural barriers. The range of colours and options available is quite large so I am sure you’ll be all be able to find your favourite colours !!
