Outfit Post : Monochrome & Stripes for the Winter

With stripes and monochrome being all the rage for the upcoming Spring season, I decided to rifle through my wardrobe for inspiration for a Winter take on this trend. I combined plaid, stripes, leather, bows, fur and wax finished leggings all in monochrome !!

Earlier last week I wrote a post about how now that I have undergone eye laser surgery, I couldn’t stop thinking about sunglasses, previously I mainly used sighted sunglasses which places strict limitations on the shape of the frame allowed…as a result I had never bothered buying aviators. Still an avid fan of the classic style…so ba da booom…my hubby took me on my first shopping excursion since the op and bought me an early Valentine’s pressie – Ray Ban aviators in a gold frame with green tinted lenses. 

Here is what I wore on this shopping excursion, the first pic has the sunglasses I wore at the start of the day, the aviators make an appearance further down !!!!!
