Outfit Post : Day 4 – Malta Fashion Week – New Designers

Yesterday I helped out with the styling backstage at the fourth fashion show of the Malta Fashion Show 2013 – the new Designers Show showcasing upcoming local designers. For my review on the actual show go here.

For this event, besides looking stylish, what was very important is for me to be comfortable, since I would be running around, changing models, calling models, picking shoes up etc. etc.. So I settled on a denim outfit – but in the spirit of design I decided to wear my own customised denim designs (I made the customizations not the actual denim clothing !!)

Also very interesting are both my BAG and T-SHIRT– the print on this t-shirt is actually that of a photo taken by my hubby Kurt Paris, from a shoot we worked on together, that was bought by both River Island and Bershka and worked into this design (I’m wearing the River Island one here). Printed t-shirts are so in this season and they work perfectly with studs and denim.

Next on the list is my SLON TORBALSKI bag, sent to me by the lovely PR people – and I LOVE IT, I discovered this amazing bag designer last September on a visit to Krakow Poland when I bought one of their suede designs – see that here. The design of this one , is just as amazing, with it’s three tone colours, beautiful supple leather and gold detailing on the border…I’m head over heels in love with it !!
