Beauty Post : Nail Polish Corrector Pens

I was previously under the impression that everyone uses nail polish corrector pens to correct the mistakes they make when applying nail polish. However, last Sunday I took mine out with me to a styling job and was using it whilst waiting for my makeup to be done; everyone present kept asking what it was and exclaiming over how cool it was. So I guess everyone doesn’t use one, everyone doesn’t even know that it exists!
So let’s remedy that.
Unless you’re a real pro..chances are when you paint your nails, you get some/a lot of nail polish on your cuticles, and on your actual fingers; it happens to me ALL the time. One solution is to use a cuticle stick, covered in cotton wool, dipped in nail polish remover, but what bugs me about this method is, that unless the polish is completely dry, cotton wool strands might stick and cause some damage. Enter nail polish corrector pens; these refillable pens have nibs that are shaped just like a cuticle stick end, but they dispense nail polish remover, genius right?
I got mine from ebay about six years ago for about 2 euros, it had three nibs (the nib gets replaced) and I refilled the bottle with remover many times. I’ve actually just ordered its replacement cause I’ve found that with time, it doesn’t seem to be dispensing remover quite so well anymore. So I’ve ordered new ones from here but with such a low price who’s complaining. Of course, if you want a more high end product there’s options from Sephora and Opi and plenty of other brands.
Enjoy !!
