One of the questions I get asked the most is ‘What should I wear to a Wedding?’. I have written an article detailing what is and isn’t appropriate for Morning Weddings with some idea suggestions. However, I have also decided to share with you what I wore to a recent wedding of my husband’s colleague.
The wedding was a morning wedding on a very windy Sunday day in Gozo (Malta’s sister island). I wore a Japanese inspired floral dress and accessorised with a little bright pink clutch and pearl jewellery. It might not be obvious from the photo but my jewellery doesn’t actually match, the pearls are all different kinds of pearls which I think was an interesting take on the classic idea.
I also wore neutral brown based makeup and pulled my hair into a side parting and set the curls to one side of my head. Since I love hats, I decided I had to wear a hat of course..and not just any hat…a big Mexican style one..that meant that every time a gust of wind blew (which was every minute or so, my hat went flying somewhere). I also wore light pink shoes which I forgot to take a pic of.
