As the official Miss Malta Blogger I will be discussing and examining the style evolution of the competitors throughout the duration of this competition. This post focuses on Miss Hamrun – Alexia Fenech.
The beauty team of Miss Malta is made up of Marisa Grima (styling the fashion show), Shasha Fabri (makeup), Transforma, Sue Caruana Beauty Inc (nails) and Patrick and Screen Malta (hair).
Alexia’s style hasn’t really evolved, she’s kept her style quite constant throughout the programme and to be fair I don’t think she really needed to change anything. Genetically blessed with a beautiful figure and lovely long hair, some makeup and hair polishing is basically all she needs to go the extra mile.
The only thing I would change and this is really a personal opinion more than anything else is the fact that her eyebrows are tattoos – personally I prefer natural hair eyebrows and currently bushy eyebrows are actually really in trend thanks to Cara Delevingne ..sooo if it were purely my decision I’d make Alexia grow her own eyebrows back 🙂

| In this audition photo, she looks pretty much the same as we’re used to seeing her in the programme, maybe her hair was a bit frizzier back then and has since been given treatments to condition it and remove the frizz. |

| In this official photo I’m not sure if her fringe has been cut shorter or just styled in a different way; but I’m not super fond of the visible length; I think the longer, side swept style suits her more. |
