Whilst many are embracing the fact that the weather’s changed and the hot summer days seem to be behind us ..I’m lamenting the fact that I’ve started to feel rather chilly. This means light jackets, shawls and of course little cardis and sweaters.
One of the looks I like most is the idea of wearing a dress and a cardigan like in this picture below.
I’ve said this before – whilst I appreciate androgynous fashion & I love edgy styling…sometimes, I wonder what happened to the princesses we dreamed about as little girls, where have they disappeared to in all that is fashion? One of the things I like about MAX&Co. as a brand, is that they have different trends and these trends tend to cater for a variety of styles – guess what one of them is called – Girl’s Dream and yep it’s filled with dresses, sparkly belts and sparkly shoes and lots of pretty, pretty items. There’s a protagonist in the dream ofc and it’s called Corolla (the dress in the pic below)
On a side note, one of the focuses of this theme is to be able to transition easily from day to night and a cardi or little jacket worn over a dress is a great way to do that. I also like to change handbag – sometimes what I do is carry around a large handbag during the day with a little mini one inside the large one, after my work-day is over – I simply switch. I also like to update my lipstick, maybe go for a bolder colour at night.
