TOD’S A/W 15 – 16 – Milan Fashion Week

The Italian label Tod’s is almost synonymous with luxury leather goods including their famous loafers and beautiful bags. Worn by famous faces ranging from Princess Di (there’s even a bag named after her), Kata Middleton to Taylor Swift and Cameroon Diaz, it’s quite a universally loved brand. Last February, at Milan Fashion Week, I visited their A/W 15-16 presentation at the stunning Corso Magenta, featuring a whole host of beautiful items, including some wonderful clothing pieces.

The leather work is as always, exquisite – superb quality and perfect finishing with no uneven seams or stitching to be found anywhere. Shapes and lines are a repeated motif across the collection both in terms of the leather items and also across the clothing pieces. Some of the loafers have been given such interesting designs they might have to move out of the ‘classic’ zone.
