Outfit Post : Attempting Minimalism

Those of you who regularly visit this blog must be aware by now that I’m not the most minimalistic of dressers. I’m more than fine with dressing clients and models in minimalistic pieces but when it comes to myself… even when I do set out to attempt something basic or void of colour, somehow more extravagant pieces always seem to find a little hole to creep in from. Case in point is this outfit – it was perfectly minimalistic before this stunning Ottaviani (such a wonderful brand) necklace and these red lips and bag made an entrance. I’m quite in love with this little, jewelled beauty and this season, large statement, jewellery is quite a hit.

I must admit, though, there’s just something about a red lip that’s just so beautiful, especially when the colour is specifically created by a team of MAC pro makeup artists to perfectly match your bag.
