A Gender Neutral Dapper Watch

Up until a few years ago, a woman wearing a man’s watch might have been looked at with slight distaste, especially when said woman sports a small wrist like mine. Today’s watch trends, well fashion trends in general, are quite favourable to the idea of anything oversized so the mentality has really changed. When that nice Daniel Wellington bloke offered to send me a new watch, I decided to take a peek at the men’s section. I was quite attracted to the Dapper style, name and all, so behold my first ‘male’ or as I prefer to call it Gender Neutral watch.

I know you see a lot of dresses and skirts and other somewhat girly items in my Outfit Posts and yes I do tend to be drawn towards these styles. However, that doesn’t mean I’m not a fan of more androgynous or to keep in topic – Gender Neutral styles. I simply think that feminine-oriented styles suit my petite but curvy frame a bit more. Having said that, I have tried to incorporate a couple of masculine twists in this season’s London & Milan Fashion Week outfits, you’ll be able to judge how these work out pretty soon. Maybe wearing a man’s watch will help to legitimise my claims to this style.
On a different tangent – this Daniel Wellington chap truly is a nice ‘un and is also giving 15% off any purchases to my readers – simply use the code CAROLINEFASHIONSTYLING at checkout before the 15th March and the discount is all yours.
