And my year-long exciting shopping expedition comes to an end. The red little Aygo is no longer – in its place is a new black and white shiny Citroen Ds3. I’m in absolute love – from the plush interiors with chrome touches, to the smooth drive, to the comfortable bucket seats – head over heels in love.
It has really taken way too long for me to finally come to a decision – my wish list was just too darn complicated – largish boot / nice interior (with a screen) / two tone (yes, that was an actual feature I demanded / not masculine-looking / interesting / not too big. Imagine this – on my first trip to Citroen, I asked them for a quote for three different car models.
I had looked at the Ds3 a year ago but I wasn’t in love with the interior, it didn’t feel plush and modern, over the past year, this has been changed considerably and is now, in my humble opinion beautiful.
I really am enjoying driving this car, initially, I was rather terrified, scared I’d drive headfirst into the nearest wall, hit it whilst parking, misjudge the amount of space in front of me ..it’s still early days but so far it’s been really easy and a pleasure to get used to. Hurrah!
