Outfit Post: LFW: Burberry on Day 4 – A/W 16

On Day 4, Cinderella went to the Ball – The Burberry Ball. I know I’ve skipped a few outfit posts and show posts and jumped the queue to post this one so to speak but the Burberry show truly is my highlight of LFW. This season, I felt even more gleefull since I was allocated a seated ticket not a standing one which meant my feet hurt less and there was that happy feeling of finding your name on the seat in that beautiful show space.

The show was as usual, lovely, both as a show and also in terms of a collection – the coat selection is breathaking. The great thing, is that they are moving towards the idea of having the collection instantly accessible for purchase. This collection is already available to buy – customers can only pre-order selected pieces online but the entire collection is currently on display in the Regent Street flagship store and will be there for another week before moving to a Paris showroom.
Every season, at London Fashion Week, it’s always the show over which I agonise most about my outfit – finding that happy middle between elegant and interesting is always hard, especially when you don’t have your whole wardrobe available. This year, I opted for a more elegant look. I didn’t have a long drive or walk of any sort luckily – The Ampersand Hotel, my lovely dig for the night is only a 5 minute drive. I opted for a white hand-beaded Elisabetta Franchi dress from the A/W 15 Gold collection from Rebelli in Malta. I also wore soemthing a bit unique – a bangle from a company Wonderluk that produces really innivantive designs using 3D printing – the techie in me is rejoicing.

My Seat !!
I didn’t snap any high-quality images but I do have professional photos and will be putting up a post dedicated to the collection very soon.
