Yep, another month gone by – we’re at the end of May, bang in the hot season and nearing the end of what has been quite an intensive fashion month for me and Malta. This means it is time for me to add another Pandora charm to my life, to continue my story.
Well, what’s currently going on in my life? For starters, today is the first day in I don’t know how long where I managed to get over 5 hours sleep – I actually went to bed without setting an alarm clock. In my case of course, since I juggle my I.T. career alongside my work within the fashion industry, periods like these feel even more intensive. I have to admit though, the adrenaline of the whole thing really does set me off, I guess I thrive on it. I have so many different feelings and emotions right now that I couldn’t figure out what charm to get. I am still on a high over winning the Fashion Stylist award for the third time, still calming down from all the recent fashion events and jobs I’ve had and of course, summer is here now which is my favourite time of year.
A decision had to be made. Anddddd the charm of May is – A BAG. I’m not sure why, but when I saw this bag, it just felt perfect, a handbag is just so me, handbags, after all, have always been my number one fashion love. Also, in summer, I tend to use different bags to Winter and what goes in it tends to change too. In Winter there’s an umbrella, in summer sunglasses, lipstick colours also change, I sometimes change my wallet too..well little changes that make a difference.
As you might have noticed, this month I’m only wearing one bracelet with three charms. I still have all the others – wouldn’t part with them for anything at this point – but I decided to put all the other dangling ones in one bracelet and start a new, cleaner one. I feel like this is really sweet, especially for summer, it’s possibly a bit more elegant too. I’ll still be wearing both together but just for now this little one is the only thing on my hand.
