This last month of July was a bit of a box of special moments. When it came to choosing my Pandora charm for July, I really wished to somehow relate it to certain peaks throughout this last month. I searched for a keyboard or something tecchie to relate to the GOOGLE events which I still have to write a full write-up about but I couldn’t find one. Anyway, GOOGLE wasn’t the only peak of the month, Gran Gala della Moda last Saturday was definitely another peak.
Then I found it – the perfect, perfect charm – a little jewel box with an inscription on the bottom saying ‘An Unforgettable Moment’. My little memory-holder charm. There’s also another memory or line of thought I wish to associate with this month. As we grow older, we are continuously learning and this month was a bit of a learning month for me. On different occasions, I was lucky enough to be given advice by a few people whose opinion I really respect – some of this advice was to calm down and deal with problems after you’ve had time to reflect, to learn how to say no, to learn how to filter out real, honest advice from that that might be manipulative advice and most of all – to be true to myself. You may have realised that I’ve been being a lot more open and honest lately and this all stemming from that. I used to believe that I needed to hide parts of myself from this blog. I tried to only show you the pretty and perfect moments, none of the trials and tribulations. It will be a long while yet before you really see me cry on the blog so to speak but I’m starting to believe that it’s ok to be open, ok to be real.
So after living through these experiences and moments, when I saw this charm, it was literally the perfect addition to my charm bracelet and this way – all of these events and thoughts are bottled up inside my PANDORA moment keeper charm.
