GUEST POST : Line Peteri and her amazing Story

I don’t often allow guest posts, I generally prefer the content on my blog to be my own personal stories, my own reflections. Every once in a while you meet a person who changes something about you, maybe something about the way you think, dress, work. Line is one such person, she inspires me to simultaneously work harder and have more fun, to forget the little things, to be strong. Few people have ever inspired and motivated me the way she does. I am proud to introduce Line Peteri as guest contributor to this blog who will be blogging about herself and her life with a ‘reality’ perspective’ This is her first introductory story.
Hello,
My name is Line I’m 39 years old, originally educated within the fashion sector, but ended up working within the IT industry for a big part of my life. I am originally from South Korea Seoul but I was adopted and moved to Denmark when I was almost 4 years old. I will start guest blogging here in Caroline Paris’ universe. Like Caroline, I’m also a mix of tech and fashion, I love her very informal world, and I am looking forward to be a part of it:)
But who am I? And why should you care about me? To be honest, I’m just me, honest, unfiltered, and uncensored. Sometimes I look great, sometimes I don’t, sometimes I’m happy, sometimes I’m not, but in my posts I wish to show you a real person!
Unfortunately, I have been diagnosed with a rare kind of thyroid cancer and over the last 12 months, I have undergone 6 surgeries due to cancer 28 radiation treatments. I have travelled more than 36 times back and forth to London, and spent more than 140 days at hotels, and countless days at hospitals for scans, treatments, test. I have great help and support from my amazing family which has kept me going.
The day after one of my surgeries I forced myself to get up and walking up stairs, to walk around, always trying to keep myself as strong as I can possibly be.
Then there’s the fashion part – I like to dress up, and pamper myself, so that the person looking back at me in the mirror never looks like a sick, tired person with a rare form of cancer, but a kick ass life lover who loves fashion, Malta and their family.
Over the next 12 months, I will guest blog here, about my life, everything from fashion, travel, family to hopsital. Read more unfiltered stories on my facebook blog
Welcome to my little corner of Caroline’s universe.. So just “Lines” 🙂
