Golden Spring

I’m always excited to discover new local designers and my latest discovery is Nixy by Nicole Agius. Nicole is focusing on creating a range of different dresses, mainly for parties and different occasions like weddings. I absolutely fell in love with this nude, glittery creation, I felt like such a princess wearing it.

I actually have a bit of a funny story to relate about this shoot.. Nicole is an old friend of mine but she was living in Dubai for a while and we didn’t really keep in touch. Well, when she first came to speak to me about her brand ….her profile pic had many people in shot and it was taken from far away…I know other ‘Nicoles’, needless to say, I had no clue who I was speaking to. My manner was quite formal in fact. Sooo, after some chatting we make plans to meet and when I see her face, I nearly blurted out – Nic ? What are you doing here? I haven’t actually told her this story yet, I felt a bit silly so I had my surprise so she’s going to read it here for the first time. Moral of the story, take the time to check out who you’re speaking to.
